Kansas Lottery enters the digital age with a new online platform, bringing popular draw games and custom eInstants to players' fingertips.
The Kansas Lottery has taken a significant step into the digital realm, unveiling its new iLottery platform developed by Pollard Banknote. This move marks a pivotal moment for lottery enthusiasts in the Sunflower State, who can now purchase tickets for popular draw-based games like Powerball and Mega Millions from the comfort of their homes.
The platform's initial offering includes nine eInstant games from Pollard's Digital Games Studio. Among these are 'Jayhawk Riches' and 'Wildcat Riches', specially customized to celebrate the rivalry between Kansas State University and the University of Kansas athletic programs. These digital offerings tie into the 'Rivalry Riches' instant ticket currently available in physical form across the state.
Pollard Banknote's co-CEO Doug Pollard expressed pride in the launch, stating, "We greatly appreciate the confidence the Kansas Lottery has shown in us by being the first client to launch Catalyst." He emphasized that this development represents the culmination of decades of experience in developing and operating iLottery systems in Europe and Canada.
The new platform isn't just about games. It also incorporates a comprehensive player account management system, handling crucial functions such as registration, age and identity verification, wallet transactions, and responsible gaming features. Geolocation services are provided through Pollard's proprietary GeoLocs technology.
